One of our founding partners -- Michael Freeborn -- tells a story about a traveler who sought wisdom centuries ago.  As the traveler wandered through an ancient construction site, he asked a stone cutter, "What are you doing?"  The man growled, "I am breaking rocks."  Next the traveler came upon a second stone cutter and asked again, "What are you doing?"  The man furiously wiped his brow, replying meekly, "I am just trying to earn a living for my family."  Finally, the traveler came upon a third stone cutter who smiled broadly as he cut the rock.  Again he asked, "What are you doing?"  The stone cutter stopped his work and, with a twinkle in his eye, responded, "Can't you see?  We are building a cathedral!"  As the traveler learned that day, the right perspective changes rocks to cathedrals.  At Freeborn, we truly believe our hard work builds a better future for our clients.
