Freeborn & Peters LLP Supports Community Through Innovative Work Study Program at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

Freeborn & Peters LLP is proud to spotlight its partnership with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School on Chicago’s Southwest side, providing valuable corporate work experience to students from the community. The full-service law firm has been a corporate partner for this innovative Work Study Program for eight years and has impacted the lives of dozens of students, providing them exposure to a corporate work environment, the opportunity to develop a professional skill set and the inspiration to achieve their personal goals.

Freeborn & Peters is pleased to have just hired a former participant in the Cristo Rey Work Study Program as a full-time marketing assistant in the law firm’s marketing group. This young professional completed four years in the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School program, working at Freeborn & Peters once a week, and then went on to complete her college education. Freeborn takes pride in being influential in the development of this young person’s education and career, as well as those of many others.

Michael Moynihan, Co-Managing Partner of Freeborn & Peters said, “As lawyers, we have an extra responsibility to our community, and we feel strongly that our law firm should invest in and contribute to our neighbors by repeated and frequent giving back.”
