Freeborn received a 2014 “Horizon Interactive Award” for its animated holiday e-card, "Toucan Fun." The Horizon Interactive Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. The winning holiday card was a collaborative effort between Freeborn’s marketing team and Greeting Card Collection, a provider of custom holiday card solutions. The 13th annual international competition saw over 1,200 entries from over 27 countries, as well as entries from nearly all 50 of the United States of America.
