Shapiro Writes About Federal Defend Trade Secrets Act Best Practices for Food Companies

As the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued the final rule comprising the seven core regulations that implement the Food Safety Modernization Act, food companies also should look out for other laws that protect other aspects of their operations, according to John Shapiro, a member of the Food Industry Team. Shapiro writes about one such new law, the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), and best practices for food companies to take advantage of the protections and benefits the DTSA offers.
