White Paper Co-authored by Cross Cited in Submission Seeking to Amend Australian and New Zealand Abuse of Dominance Law

Jeffery M. Cross, a member of the Litigation Practice Group and Antitrust & Trade Regulation Group, is co-author of the white paper “Use of Dominance, Unlawful Conduct, and Causation under Section 36 of the New Zealand Commerce Act: A US Perspective,” which was the lead citation in a recent submission to the Australian and New Zealand governments supporting amendment of abuse of dominance law in the countries. The submission was from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, whose mission is to ensure that individuals and businesses comply with Australian competition, fair trading and consumer protection laws. The white paper originally was published by the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies, for which Cross serves as a member of its Advisory Board. A version of the white paper also was published in December 2012 by the New Zealand Business Law Quarterly.
