Zeoli Writes about Title III Crowdfunding Regulations and Overall Outlook for Retail Crowdfunding

The Jumpstart Our Business Startups (Jobs) Act, passed in April 2012, becomes effective in a few months with new Securities and Exchange Commission regulations governing retail crowdfunding. Anthony J. Zeoli, a member of the Corporate Practice Group, writes in a Law360 commentary article that he believes there are easier, cheaper and/or more useful methods for accomplishing the same funding goals as the new rules that “significantly overregulate what was intended to be an easy capital-raising tool.” The article was published Jan. 25 in Law360's Capital Markets, Securities and Public Policy Law360 section.
