Read Andrew Goldstein's Client Alert on '.Cloud' Domain Names

The world of generic top-level domains (gTLDs) has expanded immensely since the days in which one's only choices were .com, .org, .net and a handful of others. Now another new gTLD has been introduced to the market, and attorney Andrew Goldstein, a Partner in the firm's Corporate Practice Group, recently wrote a client alert on the topic.

The new gTLD is ".cloud," and parties interested in registering their .cloud domains can do so during the "Sunrise" period, which begins Nov. 16. However, during this phase, only those with a registered trademark may submit an application. Others can place an order during the Priority Registration Phase, also known as the "Landrush" period, which begins Jan. 25, 2016.

The full client alert is attached.
