Cornelius "Neil" Tanis is a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group.

Among various intellectual property, commercial and general corporate matters, Neil advises businesses with respect to entity structure, partnering, strategic alliances and joint ventures, and the development, ownership and licensing of technology and other intellectual property and interests. He also provides counsel on matters involving software, hardware, e-commerce, cloud and other hosting matters, databases, privacy and Internet projects. Additionally, he has extensive experience acquiring, expanding, refinancing and restructuring private sector companies, services, manufacturing, distribution and supply agreements, outsourcing arrangements and other general corporate and commercial transactions, both domestic and foreign.

Prior to joining Freeborn, Neil was a member of the Technology Transactions practice at K&L Gates.
