Our Environment and Energy Law Practice Group believes that taking a real-world, practical approach to solving environmental problems is the best way to serve the interests of our clients.

Working with an interdisciplinary team of attorneys from across the firm – including our Corporate Practice Group, Real Estate Practice Group and Construction Industry Team – our environmental lawyers regularly counsel clients on environmental aspects of business transactions. Our work in this area includes providing strategic advice regarding voluntary clean-up programs, brownfields, clean-up standards, environmental indemnities, state clean-up programs, and Phase I and II evaluations.

Our attorneys also have unique experience in the areas of environmental-based construction and engineering claims. We have worked extensively in the area of classifying construction and demolition debris in numerous projects, including stadium demolition and electrical installations. Should litigation arise, our practice has extensive experience in defending environmental and engineering professionals against negligence and contract claims.
