28 Aug 2018

Alexander S. Vesselinovitch, a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group, is profiled in the 2018 Business Edition of Leading Lawyers Magazine, in the article “Commercial Litigator’s Humor and History With Fraud Benefit Clients." In the article, Mr. Vesselinovitch is profiled as an accomplished litigator who brings humor, a laser-sharp intellect and a down-to-earthy sensibility to his practice. He particularly focuses on civil and criminal litigation involving anti-fraud matters, intellectual property, antitrust, commercial arbitration, civil RICO, and the False Claims Act, among other areas. The article recalls one of Mr. Vesselinovitch’s most memorable cases as a federal prosecutor concerning a homicide case against a former suburban police officer, as well as his work successfully defeating the patent for crispy potatoes in a “fun” case involving waffle-cut French fries. Mr. Vesselinovitch has been named a "Leading Lawyer" since 2004. A division of Law Bulletin Media, which publishes the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer magazine, Leading Lawyers is an attorney referral guide that selects lawyers based on survey nominations and approval by an advisory board.
