The Bunker Pre-Veterans Day Press Conference

On November 10, 2014, the day before Veterans Day, The Bunker will be conducting a Pre-Veterans Day Press Conference to announce a national expansion strategy. Remarks from The Bunker’s Corporate Partners, including Freeborn & Peters LLP, in addition to elected officials and The Bunker’s portfolio of veteran entrepreneurs will take place. 

The Bunker – an incubator for veteran-owned startups and aspiring entrepreneurs – will make major announcements about its leadership initiatives for promoting veteran-owned. The announcements are expected to have a significant impact on Chicago, the state of Illinois, and on the veteran community at large as the nonprofit organization assists military service personnel seeking to launch their own businesses.  

Speakers include Todd Connor, CEO of The Bunker, which launches Nov. 1 and is affiliated with 1871, the shared workspace and startup Hub in The Merchandise Mart, as well as Michael Freeborn, founding partner of Freeborn & Peters and an Air Force Academy graduate and former active-duty officer, who also will relate why service veterans are well-suited for leadership at entrepreneurial companies.
