Freeborn & Peters LLP and Grant Thornton will present a conference titled The China Vision: Seeing Double at the Westin O'Hare Hotel, 6100 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL. The program is designed to offer business executives with the best legal, accounting and business advice when taking United States-based businesses to China or bringing China-based businesses to the United States. Divided into two sessions, the entire program is designed to provide useful knowledge and insight when navigating the process. 

The morning session, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, addresses the issues and opportunities of doing businesses in China. The afternoon session, from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm, offers advice on bringing Chinese businesses to the United States. Registrants are invited to attend both sessions, as well as the informative luncheon session from 12:00 pm - 1:00pm, featuring the president of Landrum & Brown Worldwide Services (LBWS), Douglas Goldberg. LBWS is an aviation consulting firm with more than 50 years of experience working in the aviation industry. Recently, the company established a presence in China and won the airport design competitions at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport in 2004 and the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport in 2005, and is working on other projects from its new office in Shanghai. Mr. Goldberg will tell the company's 10-year story about doing business in China, discuss aviation in China and offer practical advice for doing business outside of the U.S.
