DeRousse to Introduce Illinois Governor and Walgreens GC at Women’s Bar Foundation of Illinois Luncheon

On June 29, Shelly A. DeRousse, a Freeborn Partner and Co-Leader of the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group, will introduce Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner and Walgreen Co. General Counsel Elena Kraus at the Women’s Bar Foundation of Illinois 2018 Rise Up and Reach Back Luncheon in Chicago. Mr. Rauner and Ms. Kraus will present awards at the event. Ms. DeRousse is the current president and has served for many years on the Executive Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Foundation of Illinois, which is affiliated with the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. The luncheon will be held at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant. All proceeds from the event will be used to fund scholarships awarded by the Women’s Bar Foundation to outstanding women law students in Illinois law schools.
