Jeffery Cross to be a Featured Panelist During the ABA Antitrust Brown Bag Series Live Webinar

Jeffrey Cross, Partner, will be a featured panelist during a live webinar which will discuss the recent developments in Section 1 jurisprudence affect how companies do business and how courts manage cases. The webinar is hosted as part of the ABA Antitrust Brown Bag Series.  The live webinar event will take place on February 10, 2010 from 12:30  - 1:30 p.m. EST.

Jeffrey and the other panelists will address the counseling and litigation challenges present in recent cases, including Bell Atlantic Corp. v. Twombly, Ashcroft v. Iqbal, American Needle v. Nat’l Football League, and Leegin Creative Leather Products v. PSKS, and will provide practice tips for managing similar challenges in the future. In particular, the panelists will discuss how to manage the initial phase of litigation, such as motions to dismiss, in Section 1 cases; how to counsel vertically related entities, such as manufacturers and retailers and parent companies and subsidiaries, in entering into agreements; and how to defend such agreements in litigation.
