Freeborn and Attorneys Recognized in 2019 Edition of Benchmark Litigation

CHICAGO – Freeborn & Peters LLP is pleased to announce that the firm and its Partners David S. Becker, Michael D. Freeborn and Sean Thomas Keely have been ranked in the 2019 edition of Benchmark Litigation, the legal industry guide that aims to include “only firms and litigators that are of an elite status” in North America.

Mr. Becker, a member of Freeborn’s Litigation Practice Group and Emerging Technologies Industry Team, is recognized for General Commercial and Securities litigation. His litigation practice involves complex commercial matters including patent litigation, employment discrimination claims, trade secret disputes, enforcement and avoidance of non-competition agreements, fiduciary duty claims, securities fraud actions, common law fraud claims, contract disputes, real estate disputes, and healthcare payor/provider disputes. Mr. Becker is based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Mr. Freeborn, a founding member of the firm, is recognized for Antitrust, General Commercial, Product Liability and Securities litigation. His more than 40 years of trial experience includes representing companies in business litigation at both the trial and appellate level. Mr. Freeborn is also based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Mr. Keely, a member of Freeborn’s Litigation Practice Group and Insurance and Reinsurance Industry Team, is recognized for General Commercial and Insurance litigation. He litigates and arbitrates commercial disputes with a particular focus on the insurance industry. He has successfully tried cases to verdict in U.S. state and federal courts, and to final award in arbitration for clients based in the United States, London, Continental Europe, and Asia. Mr. Keely is based in Freeborn’s New York office.
