Freeborn & Peters LLP is pleased to announce that Mark J. Shkolnik and David Ter Molen have joined the Firm as Associates.
Mr. Shkolnik focuses his practice primarily in the areas of intellectual property and environmental law. He also handles corporate, litigation/dispute resolution, and real estate matters. Prior to joining Freeborn & Peters LLP, Mr. Shkolnik was an associate at Piper Rudnick where he handled a variety of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters.
Mr. Ter Molen focuses his practice in intellectual property and litigation. He has experience in the areas of patent and trade secret litigation, trademark and copyright litigation, technology-related contractual disputes, defamation and First Amendment, and general litigation matters. Mr. Ter Molen also regularly advises clients on pre-litigation matters. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Ter Molen practiced with Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP, as well as Schiff Hardin LLP.
