Freeborn & Peters Partner Steven Hartmann spoke as a conference commentator at the 2004 Kratovil Conference in Real Estate Law, "Real Estate in Bankruptcy," held at the John Marshall Law School.
The topic was "Rejection under Section 365 and Sales under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code: "Why the Seventh Circuit Decision in Qualitech was Clearly Correct But Portends Disaster for Leasehold Financing."
Mr. Hartmann's commentary was in response to the presentation by Professor Robert Zinman of St. John's University School of Law. Freeborn & Peters was a co-sponsor of the event.
