Carly Allen is an Associate of the Litigation Practice Group of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. Ms. Allen was an Associate at Freeborn & Peters, which combined with SGR in 2023.
Ms. Allen also previously served as a Summer Intern at Freeborn, where she worked with the Litigation Practice Group on projects involving trademark litigation, non-solicit and non-compete agreements, and other commercial litigation matters.
Ms. Allen received her B.A. from the University of Texas (Dean’s Honors List, magna cum laude), and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. In law school, she served as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Race and Law, the Programming Chair of the Women Law Student Association, and a Student Attorney for the Environmental Law and Sustainability Clinic and the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic.
Outside of work, Ms. Allen enjoys fitness, true crime podcasts and documentaries, and finding new restaurants to try out in Chicago.
