Jill Bettenhausen joined the paralegal group at Freeborn in 2005 and has been with the firm for over 25 years. Currently, she primarily supports the Real Estate Practice Group with preparation of closing books, maintenance of file rooms, updating databases, searches for underlying title documents and general administrative support. In addition, Jill assists the Litigation Practice Group by updating and maintaining discovery and pleadings binders, maintaining files, reviewing deposition transcripts and entering information into case databases, researching case information and updating spreadsheets and databases, assembling trial binders, and downloading documents and transcripts. She also has prepared fee petitions for the Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring Practice Group.
Prior to joining Freeborn, Jill was legal assistant to managing partners at Baker & McKenzie and Greenburg, Kraus & Jacobs. She has 34 years of experience in several fields of law.
