As problems become more complex, and as their solutions require the active participation of diverse perspectives, then teamwork and collaboration become increasingly necessary and valued.
Katelyn is an Associate in Freeborn's Chicago office and a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses primarily on insurance non-compete litigation and shareholder disputes.
Katelyn graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago, School of Law. Prior to joining Freeborn, Katelyn served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Maria Valdez, U.S.M.J. in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also served as a Social Security Judicial Law Clerk in the Northern District of Illinois.
In addition to her professional career, Katelyn serves as Secretary on the CARPLS Professional Board. CARPLS is Cook County’s largest provider of free legal services.
