Anthony Zeoli Authors Commentary on State of Illinois Crowdfunding

While Illinois intrastate crowdfunding officially became law in January of last year, it took well over 10 months to work through the administrative realities of actually conducting offerings. As a result, there was a delay in the ability for businesses to actually take advantage of the law. All that has changed, and Illinois crowdfunding is coming out strong in 2017. In fact, Anthony "Tony" J. Zeoli, a Partner in the firm's Corporate Practice Group, recently spoke at a press conference celebrating the success of Illinois' intrastate crowdfunding law. Hosted at the offices of 1871, a prominent Chicago-based start-up incubator, the press conference included the introduction of three Chicago-based businesses that are currently taking advantage of the relatively new law, which Tony authored.

Tony recently published an article about the press conference and the businesses that are taking advantage of the new law. Titled "Illinois Crowdfunding Starting Strong in 2017," the piece was published in Crowdfund Insider, where Tony is a Senior Contributor.
