Jeff Mattson, a Partner, Co-Leader of the Corporate Practice Group and Co-Leader of the Private Equity Industry Team, is helping Pidge Industries with financial matters and trademark applications concerning the company’s invention of a portable, drinking water-purifying device. The device cleans water of organic and biological contamination and has potential uses domestically and overseas to purify water for drinking and medical uses. Mattson has been friends with Pidge principal Michael J. Fleck since their undergraduate days at the University of Illinois.
