Daily Herald Profiles Hon. Fred Foreman and His Career “On the Court Side of Politics”

During his lifetime of public service, Hon. Fred Foreman, senior counsel at Freeborn, developed a relationship with former Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and built friendships with other Republicans including Jeff Sessions and with Democrats such as Richard M. Daley. The suburban Chicago newspaper Daily Herald recently published a profile celebrating the distinguished career of Judge Foreman, from his beginnings in the political scene in 1980 as a Lake County state's attorney, to his appointment as U.S. attorney in 1990, to his first stint with Freeborn in the early ‘90s, to his election as a Lake County circuit court judge in 2004, to his retirement from the court and return to Freeborn in 2014. The article, “Constable: Taking pointers from Bush, former judge maintains Lake County roots,” was published Dec. 10, 2018.
