Eileen B. Trost Joins Trusts and Estates Planning Group

Freeborn & Peters LLP is pleased to welcome Eileen B. Trost to the Firm as a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group.  Ms. Trost concentrates her practice in estate planning, trust and estate administration and related tax issues. She is highly regarded for her experience in advising corporate fiduciaries and high net-worth clients in all aspects of estate, gift, generation-skipping and income tax planning for trusts and estates.

Since 2005, Ms. Trost has been designated as among the top five percent of attorneys practicing in Illinois (by both Leading Lawyers Network and Illinois Super Lawyers), and she has been named as one of the top 50 women attorneys in the state. Ms. Trost was most recently named President of the Chicago Estate Planning Council. She also serves on the Planned Giving Advisory Board for the Goodman Theater.

Ms. Trost has served as a Partner at several international law firms, where she advised high net-worth clients on a variety of tax, property and fiduciary issues. Ms. Trost served as Vice President and Head of Trust Administration for the Arizona affiliate of Chicago-based Northern Trust Corporation.  Prior to joining Freeborn & Peters LLP, she was a Partner with K&L Gates LLP. She earned her JD, with honors, from the University of Minnesota.
