Freeborn Expands IP Litigation Practice with Two Lateral Hires

Freeborn & Peters LLP has recruited two new partners to our IP Litigation Practice Group. Edward H. Rice and Marina N. Saito both focus their practices on patent litigation and have extensive trial experience.

“The depth of Ed and Marina’s trial experience sets them apart from many of their peers in the intellectual property space,” said Joseph Fogel, team leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. “We are pleased to have them on board and look forward to their contributions to our clients and the firm.”

Both attorneys were formerly partners at Loeb & Loeb LLP before opening their own practice, Hopenfeld Singer Rice & Saito LLP.

“For years, Marina and I have worked together to help clients with their intellectual property needs,” Ed said. “We are happy to have the opportunity to continue to work alongside one another as part of the Freeborn team and look forward to putting our knowledge of patent litigation to use for the firm.”
