Freeborn Expands Litigation Practice with Addition of Associate Alexander A. Pabon in Chicago

CHICAGO – Freeborn & Peters LLP continues the expansion of its litigation practice group  and complex commercial litigation team with the addition of Alexander A. Pabon as an associate in the firm’s Chicago office.

Pabon most recently served as a judicial law clerk for U.S. District Judge Robert E. Wier in Lexington, Kentucky. He previously was a summer associate at Dressman Benzinger LaVelle in Covington, Kentucky, where he worked on various commercial and complex litigation projects in Kentucky and Ohio state courts.

“We are pleased to welcome Alex to Freeborn’s Chicago office and the firm’s litigation practice group,” said Steven D. Pearson, Freeborn’s co-managing partner. “We look forward to seeing him grow in his legal career, and the perspectives he will bring from his federal clerkship experience will benefit our clients and our firm.”

Pabon received his undergraduate degree from North Central College and his law degree  from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, where he was the managing articles editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and president of the Latino Law Student Association.

Freeborn's litigation practice group brings both bench strength and deep experience to each client matter. Known as a Litigation Powerhouse®, they are “litigators first” and their philosophy is to prepare cases to be tried. Even when settlement is appropriate, their trial-ready approach provides the best ultimate outcome.
