Freeborn & Peters LLP Continues Expansion with Addition of Three Associates in Chicago

CHICAGO – Freeborn & Peters LLP is pleased to announce that Clayton Lynn, William J. Sullivan and Nicholas Vittori have joined the firm as associates, further expanding its Chicago office as part of the firm’s strategic growth plan. Lynn is a member of Freeborn’s corporate practice group, and Sullivan and Vittori are members of the litigation practice group.

“Clayton, Bill and Nick are talented, up-and-coming attorneys with valuable experience that will enhance Freeborn’s offerings on litigation and corporate matters,” co-managing partner William E. Lynn focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private placements and securities, and general corporate governance. He frequently advises privately held, middle-market companies in exit transactions, as well as clients in buy-side M&A transactions. He also has experience in intellectual property law, including matters involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights. Lynn previously was an associate at Munck Wilson Mandala LLP, where he supported clients in M&A, corporate governance, technology transactions, and real estate and land-use issues. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. 

Sullivan focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, including representation of publicly traded corporations in contract disputes, consumer fraud, and class actions. Prior to joining Freeborn, Sullivan was an associate at Wilson Elser LLP, where he focused on defending professional liability claims against accountants, attorneys, contractors, real estate agents and other licensed professionals. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Vittori, a member of the complex commercial litigation team, focuses on matters involving breach of contract, fraud and other business torts, breach of fiduciary duty, white-collar criminal defense and professional malpractice. He previously was an associate at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., handling complex civil litigation, including white-collar defense, commercial litigation, mass tort, and insurance defense matters related to medical malpractice, long-term care and Office of Civil Rights investigations. He received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University and his law degree from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
