Inspiration Kitchens, the social enterprise restaurant of non-profit Inspiration Corporation, was recently featured on ABC network's "The Chew." The segment aimed a spotlight at the innovative program that provides real-world training to Chicago's homeless and impoverished.
As part of Freeborn's commitment to its core values, the firm has played an instrumental role in the growth of Inspiration Corporation and its Inspiration Kitchens program. Specifically, attorney John T. Shapiro, a Partner in the firm's Food Industry Team, has donated his services as the organization's general counsel, and other members of the firm have provided their counsel for a variety of activities, including assisting in the real estate acquisition and renovation of Inspiration Kitchen's Garfield Park location.
