Freeborn Proud to Support "Investing in Justice Campaign"

Freeborn is proud to sponsor the "Investing in Justice Campaign," which is overseen by the Chicago Bar Association. Every March, thousands of Chicago-area attorneys and legal professionals come together to raise money for the community’s overburdened pro bono and legal aid system. Jordan H. Peters, a founding partner of the Firm, serves as Vice Chair of the Campaign.

The current economic crisis is increasing the demands for legal aid services at a time in which there are fewer resources available from other sources.  One hundred percent of the funds raised in the Campaign will be used for grants to (a) strengthen Chicago’s pro bono and legal aid organizations; (b) enable dedicated lawyers to pursue careers in legal aid and help pro bono attorneys to most effectively supplement their efforts; and (c) underwrite innovative projects that make the justice system more user-friendly and accessible for those in need.
