Several Key Health Care Provisions Become Effective For Plan Years Beginning On and After September 23, 2010
In March 2010, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (the "PPACA") was signed into law. The PPACA, along with the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act, which was also signed into law in March 2010, imposed sweeping changes to how employers will structure their group health plans.
