The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin recently recognized Partners Jeffery M. Cross and Anthony J. Carballo for their efforts in sponsoring and spearheading a Lawyers United for the Homeless fundraising event at the firm in September. The event raised more than $13,000 for the organization, which helps provide food and shelter to the homeless. The article, which published on Jan. 2, also recognizes the efforts of the many Freeborn & Peters lawyers, staff and family members who have volunteered their time to the organization over the years.
