Jeffery M. Cross Authors “Antitrust Law: Section 1 of the Sherman Act” recently published by the Federal Judicial Center

Freeborn Partner and member of the Litigation and Antitrust Practice Groups Jeffery M. Cross was approached by the Federal Judicial Center in 2016 to write a basic primer on Section 1 of the Sherman Act for new judges or judges without a great deal of antitrust experience to reference. The monograph provides an overview of one of the principal sections of antitrust law, § 1 of the Sherman Act, and describes the statutory framework as well as analyzes the case law. Jeffery’s more than 40 years of trial experience representing a variety of corporations and businesses throughout the country on antitrust issues, as well as his 15 years teaching antitrust courses at two law schools made him a natural choice to author this monograph. The monograph was recently released and is currently available online and will go into print in the spring of 2022.
