The Internet has not only created new business opportunities; it has created fundamental changes to our economy. Nowhere is this more apparent than the current rise in popularity of services such as Uber, Lyft and AirBnB, all examples of what many refer to as the "sharing economy." However, while these new ventures are innovative, they also give rise to questions regarding insurance coverage, as the line between sharing and engaging in a commercial activity have blurred.
