Each year, the Law Bulletin receives over 1000 nominations for this prestigious listing. Only forty attorneys are ultimately selected based on the following criteria:
- Career achievements of nominees, including successful verdicts or settlements;
- How far the nominees have risen in their fields;
- The contributions the attorneys have made to their communities.
The 40 Under Forty Committee states that "young lawyers need to be true leaders in their profession, and must be viewed by their peers, clients and, yes, even their courtroom opponents as out-of-the-ordinary talents" to be chosen.
Harley joins Roger Bickel, John Lee, Todd Ohlms, and Hillard Sterling as F&P attorneys who have been chosen for this honor.
