Stearns Speaks at Judicial Investiture Ceremony for Stetson Law Professor Michael Allen

Jason P. Stearns, a member of the Litigation Practice Group, returned to his alma mater, Stetson University College of Law, on March 20 to help celebrate the judicial investiture of longtime Stetson University Professor of Law Michael P. Allen to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. A recipient of Stetson’s Outstanding Alumni Representative Award, Mr. Stearns served with Mr. Allen as co-coach of Stetson’s award-winning National Veterans Moot Court Competition team. At the event, Mr. Stearns spoke about Allen as his mentor, friend and former law professor. Other investiture ceremony speakers included U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Johnny Isakson, Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Tom Bowman, and Senior Counsel to the Attorney General of Texas Michael C. Toth.
