Unauthorized Use of Celeb's Name in Press Release Could Cost You

Andrew L. Goldstein is the author of the article, “Unauthorized Use of Celeb’s Name in Press Release Could Cost You,” which was published in the September issue of Dateline, the official newsletter of the Publicity Club of Chicago. 

The article examines a recent case that held that the unauthorized use of Chuck Yeager’s name in a press release for a wireless service is a violation of Yeager’s rights, even though the reference to Yeager was in a historical context.  Mr. Goldstein is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group and is General Counsel for the Publicity Club of Chicago.
