By utilizing new equity crowdfunding regulations that took effect earlier this year (as part of the 2012 JOBS Act), the international crowdfunding platform Indiegogo has partnered with MicroVentures to launch a new equity crowdfunding portal that helps entrepreneurs raise funds from investors in exchange for financial stakes in their startups and growing companies. Anthony J. Zeoli, a member of the Corporate Practice Group and an industry leader in the area of crowdfunding, was interviewed by the news and information website Crowdfund Insider for a story about Indiegogo’s new venture.
