Freeborn and The Angel Food Network are sponsors of this year’s Good Food Festival & Conference, taking place March 13-15, 2014 at UIC Forum in Chicago. Over 4,500 people attend the three-day event.
Brian Smith, a Partner in the Food Industry Group, will be speaking as a panelists during the Good Food Financing & Innovation Conference on Thursday, March 13th. His panel is entitled “Good Food is a Good Investment” and he will be representing Freeborn and The Angel Food Network. Friday is focused on the trade show, as well as food policy, school food, and producers. Saturday is the festival and workshops, featuring more than 150 farms, local food artisans, restaurants, and non-profits, as well as chef demonstrations and in-depth workshops.
