No Antitrust Violation in Refusal of Press Credentials

The Illinois Appellate Court dismissed an antitrust action brought by a publisher of hockey programs, which was denied press credentials by a hockey team. In granting summary judgment for the defendant hockey club, the Court noted that the market for professional hockey game programs was not a "substantial part of trade or commerce" of the state, and thus, the antitrust statute did not apply to the program publisher's action against the hockey club.
