Jennifer M. Huelskamp Recognized in Law Bulletin Media’s 40 Under Forty Illinois Attorneys to Watch

CHICAGO – Freeborn & Peters LLP announces that partner Jennifer M. Huelskamp has been included in Law Bulletin Media’s 23rd annual 40 Under Forty Illinois Attorneys to Watch, which recognizes top young attorneys practicing across the state. 

Law Bulletin Media selected the 2022 honorees from among more than 1,200 nominations for their intelligence, passion, professional success, community engagement, and willingness to work hard at their profession. The publisher of Chicago Lawyer and Chicago Daily Law Bulletin also considers peer nominations and feedback from members of the legal community during the selection process.

Huelskamp is a partner in Freeborn’s labor and employment and litigation groups, with a practice focused on employment litigation and counseling. She has significant experience representing clients in state and federal courts and in proceedings before government agencies, including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Labor, and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. She also routinely practices in the general commercial litigation space.

Huelskamp also is on the steering committee of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Council. Her pro bono work includes serving as a guardian ad litem through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, which provides free legal assistance to low-income Cook County residents. She also serves as outside counsel for a number of the firm’s pro bono clients.
