Michael Whitty Provides Insight for Chicago Tribune Article on Power of Attorney and Estate Planning Amidst COVID-19

Freeborn Partner Michael Whitty was recently interviewed by The Chicago Tribune for their "Retire Ahead" section to discuss Power of Attorney as it relates to Estate Planning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The feature, entitled "Pandemic Brings the Power of Attorney to Forefront of Estate Planning," discusses how the onset of the coronavirus pandemic has brought increased attention to some aspects of estate planning — specifically the importance of creating both a financial and a medical power of attorney (POA).
